Themes: built to be changed
CBC themes are not fixed. Club owners can go into their club and update the themes completely so the app fits the way their group actually meets.
The short version
The classic CBC themes are useful because they give new clubs a starting structure. But every club is different. Some groups will want to rename a theme, change its color, adjust the rotation, or replace it entirely.
The app should make that feel easy. Club owners should be able to update the themes from inside their own club without fighting the interface.
What owners can change
- Theme name and label
- Theme color and accent
- Rotation order and timing
- Descriptions and discussion prompts
- Whether a theme stays active or gets replaced
Default themes
The defaults still matter, but they are just a foundation.
Classy
BodyA practical, grounded theme for classics, discipline, finance, and self-development. It is a starting point, not a constraint.
Creative
MindA flexible theme for fiction, innovation, and artistic conversations. Club owners can reshape it around whatever their group wants to explore.
Curious
SpiritA discussion-heavy theme for philosophy, meaning, and deeper reflection. The structure can be kept, renamed, or replaced completely.
Theme editor flow
Make the club feel like the club, not like a template.
Open the club
Club owners enter their club settings from the app and jump straight into the theme controls.
Rewrite everything
Change the names, labels, visuals, prompts, and rotation however your club needs.
Save and share
When the changes are saved, members see the updated theme structure in the club experience.
Why this matters
Some clubs want the classic CBC rhythm. Others want something more personal, seasonal, or completely different. Editable themes let the app serve both without forcing everyone into the same structure.
